Student Bursaries
For many years The Working Manager has provided free access to its powerful on-line management academy and this has benefited a very large number students of management throughout the world. Many of these students, for a wide variety of reasons and personal circumstances, could not have afforded access to such high quality learning from their own resources. The Working Manager is delighted to have been able to make a valuable contribution to individual development in these situations.
However, the Dean and staff at TWM Academy are well aware that the new academy with its annual enrolment fee, may now exclude some people who have benefited personally from the management learning they have been able to access for free to date and that this may disadvantage them in their work and in their lives. Where possible, we would like to continue with our social responsibility to help individuals who may be seriously disadvantaged because they cannot afford the annual enrolment fee.
For this purpose The Working Manager has established a TWM Bursary Fund. The prime role of the TWM Bursary Fund is to assist individual students who could benefit from enrolment with TWM Academy but who cannot afford the full annual fee. At its discretion, TWM Bursary Fund may award part or full grants towards enrolment with TWM Academy. These will be made in the form of part or full credits to TWM Academy against individual enrolments for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years study.
Potential students who think they may qualify for a grant from TWM Bursary Fund should apply in the first instance by email to dean@twmacademy.com briefly outlining the case for a grant. Please include the words ‘Bursary Fund Application’ in the subject line of the email.
It is important to understand that TWM Bursary Fund is not a large fund and has only been possible through the generosity of The Working Manager and other sponsors. Applications will be treated on an individual basis and the criteria will be strict. Decisions by TWM Bursary Fund are final and not subject to appeal or review.
